THE IFI PENSION PLAN

The Iglesia Filipina Independiente is a Church that cares for her workers and gives paramount concern to the welfare of her clergy and non-clergy workers during and after their years of service.

A Pension Committee was established by the Executive Commission to carry the full implementation of a pension plan for the clergy and workers of the Church as mandated by the 2005 General Assembly.

The IFI Support Foundation, a non-stock and non-profit corporation registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission in 1991, has been commissioned by the Church to supervise the Pension Plan.

The IFI Support Foundation has a capital of Php 5. 3 million currently placed in three investment companies of good reputation. The Foundation targets to raise the amount of Php 61 million through different fund raising campaigns.

To ensure the sustainability of providing free coverage, the Foundation is to undertake a vigorous campaign for membership here and abroad, conduct massive fund-raising campaigns from 2008 to 2023 in the local churches, judiciously invest idle funds in high-yield placements, provide incentive awards to local churches with exemplary performance, and extend its expertise in the development and disposal of Church properties.
